From the Foothills of Mt. Meru

Sitting at the foothills of Mt. Meru, International School of Moshi (ISM) Arusha Campus is host to 16 Primary 1 (P1) students.
Coming from across the globe we have arrived at ISM with great excitment for learning and contagious laughter.
This site aims to serve as a connection between our classroom and homes. We're excited to share with you our learning...

inquiring into jobs people in our community have

Students began looking at the work people do in our community.
Thanks to several parents we were able to visit and see first hand the way organizations often have many people working together.

Our first stop was Arusha Lutheran Medical Center (ALMC) where Dr. Banks met us and then introduced us to the people she works with at the hospital.

Mama Maja came to our class and talked about the work she does as manager of Karama Lodge.
She then invited us to come and visit. So, we did...

Ben's dad came to our class and talked about airports. We not only heard all about the different jobs inside of an airport but we were given different jobs and did a simulation of an airport (videos to come, hopefully).

Dr.Banks, Lee, and Zach thank you for helping us learn more about the way people work together in our coummunities.
